Travel (Flights) and Local Transportation You can book a flight from your original destination to Ercan Airport in North Cyprus, which is only 20 minutes away from the conference Venue and 45 minutes away from the conference hotels. Our travel agency provides transfers from Ercan to the hotels. Alternatively, you can book a flight to Larnaca International Airport in South (Greek) Cyprus. Our travel agency will also organize transfers from Larnaca Airport (or city centre) to Kyrenia, North Cyprus, where the conference hotels are located (It is approximately a 2 hours drive by a shuttle bus) Minas Travel (our travel agency) can offer you the best available connections and prices for flights to either North or South Cyprus. Accommodation We have made special group reservation arrangements with 2 different hotels in Kyrenia region. Please find below some information about our hotels JASMINE COURT HOTEL 5* Located a 3km west of Kyrenia. Jasmine Court is a deluxe tourism facilty with considerably large rooms. The hotel has a rocky beach and an outdoor swimming pool, bars, restaurants and a casino. Rooms have minibars, hairdyers, safety deposits, satelite TV and direct telephones. There will be a 15% price increase after 31 August 2008. Prices include: - VAT and all other taxes - Open buffet breakfast   ROCKS HOTEL 5* Located in the town centre of Kyrenia, close to main tourist attractions and shopping area. This is a deluxe category hotel with luxory design and comfortable room facilities. Wireless internet available at the loby area and all rooms are equipped with TV, hairdryer, direct telephones, safety deposits and minibars. The hotel has a recently restored SPA and massage facility, an outdoor swimming pool, casino and several bars & restaurants. ROCKS HOTEL Room rates: (bed&breakfast) Per person in a double room €60,00 / night Per person in a triple room €55,00 / night Single room €85,00 / night These are discounted rates for the early reservation period. There will be a 15% price increase after 31 August 2008. Prices include: - VAT and all other taxes - Open buffet breakfast Minas Tourism and Travel Agency is assigned as the official travel agency for the conference by the Conference Chair. In order to avoid any possible problems in your reservation arrangements we highly recommend that the participants make their arrangements through Minas Travel. Please do not include any credit card information in your reservation form. You will be contacted by Minas Travel for the payment soon after the confirmation of your booking. So please try to organize your reservations at your earliest convenience. The rooms will be reserved to participants on a strict "first come first served" basis. After a certain date we may not be able to provide any more rooms. Excursions and Social Activities Social program of the conference is not designed yet. More information will be available here soon.
